Ben is an editorial and commercial photographer based in New York City. While finishing his degree in Economic Policy at NYU, he undertook an internship with Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer/director Vincent Laforet, and has been working for a range of clients ever since. He's photographed over 600 assignments for The New York Times, and has completed dozens of non-profit and commercial projects. He's also been sent on assignment for The New York Times Magazine, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, and other publications. His work has been recognized by American Photography, POYi, nominated for PDN 30, and other distinctions.
Ben is most proud to be a mentor at NYC SALT, a non-profit photography program serving inner city teenagers in New York City. He is a member of Wonderful Machine.
